Future directions
The hospital will continue to expand and become center of excellence in surgery and Obstetrics and gynecology. Recently the hospital has bought three buildings in the nearby area to expand its services. (1200sq.meter plot of land with G+4building in it adjacent to the existing building and 650 and 420 sq. meter of plots behind the hospital). The ultimate objective of acquiring these properties is to build modern, five star, and hospital structure and become one of the best hospitals in the region which is well equipped with high tech-medical equipment and serve as referral center for Ethiopia and surrounding countries. The following are areas of focus for hospital in the future, in the order of priority:
- Interventional cardiology and open heart surgery , Cardiac bypass and catheterization
- Assisted Reproductive Technology, IVF
- Transplant surgery
- Other high tech medical care
