Delivery Suite
There are first stage rooms, two delivery coaches and well equipped newborn resuscitation corner. The delivery room has CTG, Doppler, newborn resuscitation facilities. Fetal condition is under continuous surveillance using CTG machine. There are midwives and doctors 24 hours on duty to look after the laboring mothers and obstetricians on-call in case of emergency.
On arrival women and their partners may be requested to wait in the waiting area. This is followed by a midwifery assessment. If in labour, transfer to one of the delivery rooms with a midwife takes place. Patients may be given special dates for admission for elective C-Section or for induction of labor.
Delivery is conducted in Block 2 in MCH (Maternal and Child Health) building.
